Diese Datenbank dokumentiert die zwischen 1955 und 2007 in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und Berlin zur öffentlichen und halböffentlichen Nutzung errichteten bzw. wieder instand gesetzten Zivilschutzanlagen (deshalb sind auch nicht alle Bunker enthalten, sondern eben nur die, welche als Schutzbau für den Kriegsfall vorgesehen waren). Sie basiert auf dem offiziellen Bestand von rund zweitausend Anlagen zum Zeitpunkt etwa Mitte 2007.
