DBIS - MEDLINE über Web of Science

The online database lists medical publications from around 4,500 journals, some with short summaries, starting in 1950.
The entire field of medicine is taken into account, including nursing, dental and veterinary medicine and peripheral areas such as biology, biochemistry and psychology.
The content of the database corresponds to the printed services "Index Medicus", "Index to Dental Literature" and "International Nursing Index" as well as the online database MEDLINE. Since 1975, English-language summaries have been available for around 58% of the documents recorded. Monographs were evaluated from 1976 to 1981.
The main subject areas of the publications included include: human medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, psychology, as far as relevant to the medical field, psychiatry, pharmacy, pharmacology, anthropology, public health, social medicine, occupational medicine, rehabilitation, hospital science, forensic medicine, environmental medicine, sports medicine, gerontology, geriatrics, medical technology, medical education, biology, also as far as relevant to the medical field, biochemistry and biophysics.
Data sets from 1950 to 1965 are available under the name OLDMEDLINE, but do not contain any summaries. The most recent references can be found in the MEDLINE Alert database.
