The lawlink software recognizes citations in the following categories. The range of recognized citation types is continuously expanded as part of the ongoing development process:
Federal and European Union legislation
State legislation (currently Bavaria; additional federal states will be added)
Case law from federal, state and European courts
Legal literature (commentaries, textbooks and journal articles)
Legislative materials (in particular Bundestag and Bundesrat printed papers), as well as the Federal Law Gazette and the Official Journal of the European Union

Supported Databases

Lawlink supports both freely accessible and selected subscription-based databases. Individual database preferences (e.g. for legislation and case law) are stored in the user account and are available across all access options. Referenced legal sources are then automatically opened in the user's preferred databases. For TiHo, beck-online Hochschulmodul and Vergaberecht PLUS are licensed. As a preferred database and for accessing legal sources, beck-online can therefore be selected and stored as the default database.
