Umwelt.info is the first point of contact for publicly available knowledge relating to the environment and nature conservation from Germany. This knowledge is displayed in a standardized manner using descriptive information – so-called metadata – and accessed via a search. The metadata is checked for quality, timeliness and completeness and is compared with each other using a quality measure. The nationwide range of knowledge in the environmental and nature conservation sector shown is also prepared and presented in the form of editorial contributions on a topic-related basis.
