Singerman Bibliography of Antisemitic Texts in English

The academic study of modern anti-Semitism and anti-Jewish sentiment requires an in-depth analysis of primary sources in various genres and formats. The Singerman Bibliography of Antisemitic Texts in English makes this possible by bringing together a large number of books, pamphlets, ephemera and selected articles and making them visible and searchable as anti-Semitic literature. All titles are either written in English or translated into English and were published from the beginning of the 19th century to 2015. The works come from different countries and reflect the broad spectrum of religious, extremist and nationalist ideologies. The majority of the more than 9,200 texts are blatant and religiously motivated hate propaganda, while other texts appear more subtle in tone. A special feature of the bibliography are the editor's explanatory and summarizing annotations, often supplemented by quotations from the relevant sources. Where available, the entries also contain information on libraries and repositories that hold the original works - or copies thereof. The bibliography can be searched by author, title and year of publication.
